Octopus Profile
Hello, my friends of the surface world. I am Nerion, an octopus known far and wide beneath the waves for my intelligence, curiosity, and calm spirit. With my eight flexible arms and a mind that never stops exploring, many creatures of the sea call me the Sage of the Deep.
Habitat:
I make my home in rocky underwater caves, coral reefs, and soft sandy seafloors. I prefer quiet places where I can hide, observe, and think. My body has no bones, so I can slip through the smallest cracks whenever I need safety.
Diet:
I enjoy a rich and varied diet. I often hunt crabs, shrimp, small fish, and shellfish. With my strong suction cups and sharp beak, I can open tough shells that many other sea creatures cannot. I prefer to hunt at night, using patience and stealth rather than speed.
Babies:
Are very small and completely independent from the moment they enter the world. A mother octopus lays thousands of eggs and guards them with great devotion. When they hatch, she grows weak and soon passes away. The babies drift into the open ocean, learning to hide and hunt as they grow.

Today I took advantage of the ocean’s calm waters and went on a peaceful family stroll. The sea was quiet the currents were gentle and my little ones were curious about every shell and shadow.
